International Trade, Finance and Development

The M.Sc. aims to prepare students for leadership positions in international organizations, government, financial institutions, and NGOs. This one-year program will be taught at UPF’s downtown Barcelona campus by renowned faculty and policy experts.

Courses emphasize crucial policy issues such as: Outsourcing, Liberalization and Trade Negotiations, Conflict and Development, Immigration, Aid Effectiveness, Financial Crises, International Financial Architecture, Global Imbalances, and Exchange Rates.

Program faculty includes: Fernando Broner, Antonio Ciccone, Antoni Estevadordal, Xavier Sala-i-Martin, Jaume Ventura, and Joachim Voth.

All instruction is in English. A limited number of full-tuition scholarships are available. Applications should reach the School by March 31st. The program starts in September 2008.
